Women's Institutes

Back to Homepage

Most small communities had a Women's Institute. One of their major activities was the creation of a Tweedsmuir History (TH), a collection of information about the community. A TH is of great value to a genealogist! Here is a list of all the WI Branches in Peterborough County, with the location of their Tweedsmuir History.
