1858 an acre of land has been acquired in Bridgenorth, value $50 (Peterborough District Minutes 1858 May 26)
1858 Jul 19 Bridgenorth church opened, where the present cemetery is. The church itself believes that the building was built in 1855 but it is not mentioned in the records until 1858. Later the church was moved across the road.
