Also known as the Sons of England Benefit Society.
A benevolent society open to Englishmen born or the son of English parents and a Protestant. It's first meeting was in 1874 in Toronto, it was incorporated in 1875, and established a Grand Lodge in 1876. An early history is online1. A constitution is online 2. There is some evidence that the Society spread beyond Canada. The Society closed in 1971.
There is a Daughters of England (sometimes called Maids of England) related to it.
There was a Boys of England Lodge (#9 Lion) in Ottawa <1901 - 1916>.
