Organized 1876 Oct in the US, the first benefit society restricted to Roman Catholics. The Canadian Grand Council was established in Windsor on 1880 Feb 10. The Association folded in 1933. In 1918 and 1922 the head office was in Kingston.

It is not clear what the local unit was called, perhaps Branches. These report to state or provincial Grand Councils, which report to a Supreme Council.
