Structure

Names
    Names are listed alphabetically - last name, first name - using modern spellings.   Many alternate spellings are cross-referenced.  If the family has several people with the same first name, they are numbered (John 1, John 2, etc).  "Sr" and "Jr" are used only when those terms are used in the records.

Structure
    Each record is usually referred to in a single line although some records, such as a marriage, may take several lines.  The structure is:

No burial in TONI
    The Ontario Name Index has been checked for a burial record BUT for Peterborough County only

Not in Ontario / Peterborough County / other county
    The person was not found in that census for that area, perhaps because of mis-spellings
